Why Bother?
'Why do I bother?' said the devil. 'Because you care!' said the angel.
I bought these mannequins for $5 on ebay a few years ago and painted them in Cert III Visual Art. They are called 'The Alana/ Madeline Mannequins because they remind me of the mother and two little girls shot in the Port Arthur Massacre in 1996. Even though there is only two mannequins, one is larger than the other, so it relates to mother/daughter relationships. And one being larger than the other also represents big sister/little sister, one looking after the other, most of the time.
I don't have good relationships with my family members anymore, but it doesn't mean I don't care! If only they realised what they're missing out on!

Hmmmmm!
Hi Peeps,
Hope you all had a merry one! So what now? Back to drab! It's anyones guess... What will tomorrow bring? I certainly don't have one iota, but that's probably the best part... it's the mystery of things that makes it exciting! For now anyway!

MYSTERIOUS WAYS
OMG the world certainly does work in mysterious ways! You know sometimes when you're down and out, things look so bleak you just want to give up and hide in a hole. I have a habit of doing that often (hide in a hole that is)... BUT isn't it amazing when the world just seems to know you're not doing so good! Speaking from experience, I've trained myself to 'weather the storm'. It sounds easy. Truth is, it's bloody hard and if there doesn't seem like there is going to be a 'happy ending', the thought of giving up altogether seems the easy option.
STOP! Who am I to give advice? I'm just a little nobody on the planet, doing my thing. And if sharing my experiences with everyone out there can help another person understand what I've gone through and what I've learnt from that experience...
I sold a painting today... PINK ANGELS, created from a poem/verse I wrote a few years ago. Read the poem and I'm sure you'll see the relevance to the magical times in your Life when other things are falling apart. There's a little magic in us all, if we're willing to 'weather the storm'.

Pink Angels
The celebrations of Life
are heralded by the arrival
of the `pink angels’ of destiny…
bringing messages of encouragement
to unfinished projects.
Musical aspirations show the
unknowing passenger… avenues,
which lead to the rendezvous’ of circumstance,
where times and destinations align
with the autographs of `blown-away’ proportions,
to create something called…
Totally AMAZING!
And the `pink angels’ of destiny just smile to themselves…
Because they had it all planned from the very beginning.

PROCESS
I'm more interested in the process...
I find that the more I learn, the more I see. I see things that were there before but weren't visible. I can see the path and follow it, knowing that I'm no longer blind to the journey in which I travel. Seeing is believing, and believing in yourself is knowing the Truth and having the ability to use it wisely.
